bradkrischel asked: I know this is probably a long show, but do you guys have any extra posters from the JEFF The Brotherhood show?
Yes in fact we do! Sorry for the delayed response, hope its not too late.

Ohhhhhh man we are some lucky kids here in St. Louis. Menomena and Maps & Atlases, this Thursday!
Last night at the gargoyle: MONOTONIX.
read riverfront time’s review (and NO, we do not have “a general uptightness about fun”) However, everything else in here is spot on. It was crazy, and joyous, the most fun the gargoyle has ever seen.
Dudes! New track off of Monotonix’s second LP, Not Yet, out January 25, 2011 on Drag City.
And, lest you forget, come ‘n see them at The Gargoyle on Friday, December 1. I hear Israeli ringlets, man-sweat, and face-melting guitar are, consumed together, highly effective alternative medicinal cures for aiding post-Thanksgiving digestion.
…we just confirmed that Troubadour Dali will be opening for the Warpaint show this Friday! So, you’re in for one helluva’ night. It is a truth universally acknowledged that you cannot go wrong with Spacemen 3, My Bloody Valentine, and The Velvet Underground as your primary influences. Boom!
Sorry to beat you all over the head with yet another awesome video, but we just wanted to showcase the fantastic footage that Kuumba TV captured at our Brother Ali show. A lot of the righteous guys (Monis’s emphasis) who work with Kuumba were the same people who helped to make that show such a success, so you definitely owe it to them to check our their new site: http://kuumba.tv/home/.
Warpaint update:
The girls will be doing an in-studio set for St. Louis’s raddest radio station (next to KWUR, of course), KDHX 88.1 FM, before they head to The Gargoyle this Friday. Their performance will be streaming around 7:30 PM that evening as part of KDHX’s Coin-Operated Radio program, so be sure to give it a listen as you’re zippin’ that wine and getting ready for the Gargoyle show at 9. If you don’t have a dial to turn, stream the program online at http://kdhx.org/radio.
Also, I’ve included the link for the video that initially turned me onto this band, “Stars.” If you don’t like beautiful girls and mesmerizing visuals and haunting melodies, well, I’m afraid there’s no hope for you. If you do enjoy it, though, be sure to come check out their set this Friday! Hope to see you all there.
you can get them at metrotix.com or at the edison theatre box office at wash u. You can also pay at the door.
